Hey guys, I love your app! I've been using it for a few weeks now and it is a great help/reminder in memorizing the Bible. I did notice one technical error, that is not a big deal at all, but I just thought I would bring it to your attention. It has to do with a confusion over the book of Psalms. The proper method is to use "Psalms" when referring to the whole book but "Psalm" when referring to one psalm. E.g. Psalm 23:1.
Thanks for all you do!
I couldn't agree more! Calling an individual psalm by the name of the collection which is "Psalms" doesn't make any sense.
The plural form of the word "psalm" is used in the title, Book of Psalms, because the book contains more than one psalm. There are no chapter divisions in the Book of Psalms as there are in every other book of the bible because each of those books is a single work with chapter divisions but each of the psalms is a complete work in itself, not merely a chapter of a larger work.
All of the individual oranges in a bag of oranges is an orange. Each one of the Psalms in the Book of Psalms is a "psalm" not a "psalms."
I hope this correction which is "planned" will be implemented sometime soon.
