Often I do better with memorization when I can speak the verse rather than just typing it out. Since the technology is available to do spoken word to text could it be utilized as one of the final options rather than/in addition to the typing feature?
Speaking the verses is faster than typing the first letter of each word which causes you to have to recall the next word in the verse much more quickly. Also when reciting there’s no chance that your fingers get muscle memory with the first letters of each verse. That muscle memory isnt relevant to the content.
The microphone is good but typing allows you to concentrate better. When you need to think and look at the keyboard to avoid mistake, there are more many senses involved in the task and helps you to remember faster. I think the type out is fantastic. We should keep both.
Duolingo does it, so it has to be possible.
