Andy, that is a solid suggestion. We do not currently plan on implementing a classic flash card game per se (we have worked with this idea, but the non-digital experience of historical flashcards doesn't translate well into a truly excellent memorization game on a phone).
That being said, we are working on a very fun feature that we're calling a memorization assistant. The assistant will include some behaviour like what you described, especially around testing/quizzing your knowledge in sequence instead of requiring you to hop in/out of individual verses to practice.
