We agree. There are 100s of translations available (and that's just English!), and we want Verses to be as widely useful as possible.
That being said, unfortunately we are limited to publishing translations that we have received licensing rights from the publishers. We do have outstanding requests for the NKJV and NRSV, and I just modified your suggestion to be NEV specific since that one has not been suggested before.
