Tom,
As you suggested, I shut the app down and re-opened it. The single verse
that I had selected now appears in the list of verses with the Collection.
Good news!
I’m sure it’s not exactly the way the app is meant to work, but it will do
for now. Thank-you for your help and good advice!
All the best!

Tom,
Yes, you might be right. I've seen some weird behavior before when I'm
adding/removing verses that were already part of the collection, or that I
expanded into a larger passage.
However, closing the application completely from the background and then
restarting it has cleared these errors and made the correct verses
reappear. Could you try doing that?
Thanks,
Tom Kent

Tom,
I did that with the John 10:9 verse, and then was returned to the
Collection passages list, but the new verse, John 10:9, isn’t in the list.
However, to test, I tried a *different* verse, one from Nehemiah, and it
worked fine. The single verse appears in the list of verses with my
Collection.
Maybe the fact that I had previously deleted a passage that included this
verse (John 10:8-10) and am trying to add back John 9, the application
expects the verse should not be included.
All the best!

Tom,
If you tap on the current passage selection just the way it is, without
choosing an ending verse, it should limit the selection to only verse 9.

I would like to add just one verse to a Collection. I selected the book and
starting verse (Romans 10:9), but then I'm brought to the page for choosing
the Ending Verse. I would like to end at verse 9, but that's not an option.
How do I tell the application that I only want the one verse?
