One of the most powerful aspects of Verses is how it verifies someone's knowledge of a passage. Even if the app allowed a one time "mark as memorized" option, this would shortcut the verification of the Type Out game. For already memorized passages, you can take a moment to play the Type Out game a couple times and show to Verses that you know a passage.
