Would be GREAT to be able to setup a reminder/notification to memorize a certain verse each day or whenever it's desired. Either an overall reminder or a specific reminder for a specific verse. Would be nice to have the option.

Loving the program so far! Merged Scripture memory with my geekness!

God bless!

Glad to hear that Verses is working well for you!

We agree 100% re: notifications.  We are working on a powerful feature that we're calling a memorization assistant.  The assistant will include some behavior like what you described, especially around scheduling your memorization, alerts when you need to memorize, overall progress tracking for all your memorization, and testing/quizzing your knowledge in sequence instead of requiring you to hop in/out of individual verses to practice.

Stay tuned! We're hoping to get it finished by the summer.

I'd be interested in this feature. Or even if the green "health"circle went down over time for each verse and you had to review it in order to fill it up again. That way you have to review verses regularly in order to keep the meters full.

Yeah I'm just trying verses app after coming from fighter verses and surprised there doesn't seem to be any kind of review scheduling

Yes! Very much so. Fighter Verses is technically a proprietary collection, so we will need to work with Desiring God to get their permission to add it to Verses, but we do intend to do so.

Also, we're about to add the ability to order passages within a collection. Once that feature is live you will be able to create collections with the whole Fighter Verses program in it once for all and not have to go back to add the new verse each week.

Thanks for the question and for using Verses!

Brock, would this work with something like Fighter Verses.. so the app would notify you what the current week's verse is? Fighter Verses is a five-year program.. and I hate having to log into every week to see what the current verse is, then adding it to the Verses app.
