It would be great if the Verses app had recommendations for verses to memorize. Like “hey let’s get started on you first verse” and then it shows a popular verse, and then leads you on a journey of verses after you memorize that one.
You could offer that along with the option to chart your own course for the people that already have verses in mind to memorize.
I recommend this because I just downloaded the app because someone told me it would be good to memorize scripture but I have no idea where even begin. I tried to select a random verse using the picker but the verse I ended up picking is not one I foresee being a typical scripture memory verse. As such, I considered deleting the app immediately. I think offering a verse to get started with would help retain users like me who may be new to scripture memory
