There have been multiple times when I thought I did my verses. I wake up the next day and see that my streaks are gone. It is very disheartening when you realize you lost an 80+ day streak. I think it would be a wonderful idea to add a reminder notifying you when your streaks are about to disappear.

same problem I just sent in a complaint
this just happened to me this morning. It said I was only on a two day streak when yesterday it was over 30 days. I think there is a glitch in the system.
