Instead of 1 Peter 5:5-7 why not 1 Peter 5:5b-7? The “Likewise” portion of verse 5 isn’t necessary to the remaining passage. I’d like an option of memorizing “thought by thought” and sometimes I’d like to trim the beginning or end accordingly.
