Ideas for Verses

I love the idea of collections, but for me, I don't necessarily want to memorize the same verses as someone else. 

Instead, I would love for others to see or follow my progress and for me see or follow theirs.  In the context of discipleship and accountability, it would be great to utilize the social aspect of this app for encouragement and spurring each other on to store up God's word.  

I'd love to see a feature where you could send a friend a virtual 'poke' or 'thumbs up', which would send them a push notification through the app.  The 'poke' could be used to encourage them if they haven't used the app in a while (you could have a last used feature, so when I click on my mate's profile, it says when he/she was last active on the Verses app) to encourage them to keep going.  And the 'thumbs up' could be a way to encourage someone once they've memorized a verse or passage.

This app is good, so I've paid for a downloadable bible. Keep up the great work, I think this app has great potential to be used well, to build up God's church.
