We really want to bring Verses to Android as soon as possible. Unfortunately, Android development is very expensive. As such, we're working through all of the most complicated features and problems with Verses in iOS before we start the process of "copying" Verses to Android - we want to make sure we do not find ourselves in a position where we solve a problem or improve a feature and have to do it both on Android and iOS.
That being said, we're working towards that goal as fast as possible. Currently we hope to start Android development sometime in Fall 2015. UPDATE: we've started work on the Android version of Verses! It's a bit slow since we know iOS better than Android, but we're working towards it!

hi Guys, perhaps crowdfunding could speed up the implementation of verses on Android. Have you considered that?
Hi, coming up on 2024, ETA for android version, web version, other app updates? I upgraded on my iPad but like many others, am in a small group where approx. 50-60% are not on the iOS platform so having all join one group on an app now means we cant use Verses, which I would prefer. App currently appears optimized only for the iPhone format so it is lacking on the iPad considering how much more space there is, orientation, etc. Thanks much!
That's great! I personally use an iPhone, but as a pastor, I would love to be able to recommend this to church members who have Android or Windows phones.
I switched to Android last year and I really miss this app. :(
