Ideas for Verses

I grew up learning the versions from Luther’s Small Catechism, but I have kind of forgotten them. I think a lot of people would like to learn this version too if they grew up using it.

I work as a missionary in Japan and having the ability to use the app to help memorize scripture in Japanese would be huge!

Use spacious repetition software so that the better I do on verses, it has suggests I go over them less. Then, I would be able to work on learning more new verses.

Listen to a passage one verse/fragment at a time with a pause to repeat it back, like a call and response. Option too to have user record the verses or phrases themselves.

Can there be a way to turn off the streak? Once s streak is broken, I lose motivation to come back. I’d rather not see it.

I would love to see the Chalcedonian Definition added to the creeds. I think it has helpful language and the Verses app would sure aid in memorizing it. Plus I can get extra credit for a class if I do!

Having pre-made categories of verses to choose from that can be added to my categories I create or verses added to my list of the ones I want to memorize. Such as “faith”, “hope”, “fear”, etc.
